The company removed the micro SD card feature in its latest phones Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy Note5, opting for more fanciful designs and materials. This development didnt go well with Samsung fans.
The importance of Micro SD card cannot be over emphasized in smartphones. With it, users can store lots of music, photos,movies, etc. It is even more useful when the device internal storage is small.
On previous Galaxy smartphones, users could remove the plastic back covers to access the micro SD card slot on the back of their phones. But the new premium materials Samsung used for the Galaxy S6 and Note 5, including glass and metal, resulted in non-removable back covers.
The new model of Samsung phones may still have the glass and metal design, which means the back still might not be removable. The micro SD card slot behind the phone, will now be located on the side of the phone, like Infinix and HTC phones.
