How To Get Info On A Shortened URL Before Clicking It

Have you ever seen a shortened url when browsing? Possibly it appears in an email to you or you see it anywhere online. Something like goo.gl/ewde or goo.gl/eyy1 or bit.ly or  whichever form it appears.

Most times, this technique is used by scammers to trick you into clicking a scam page or possibly adult content. Other times, it is a genuine style used to shorten a long website address or to conceal it.

You can actually find out what is behind these links without actually clicking on them.
Simply copy the shortened url and visit getlinkinfo.com

Paste it on the box there and click on Get link info.

This will then load the original link and give you full details about the real website.
Easy way not to fall for a scam page or click a wrong address.
