Blogging Tips Series: How To Create A New Blog In 3mins[With ScreenShots]

Hello Blogger! Welcome to yet another exciting article in this series. Our previous article explained how to choose a niche and what to consider when choosing it. In case you missed that, read it HERE.
Today, we begin your journey proper to creating your very first blog and posting your first message on it in just 3mins...Yes 3mins!, Well I hope that is not an exaggeration. Ready? Set? Lets go.



First, make sure you have a Gmail account. If you dont, go to gmail.com and create one.
So next;
1. Go to blogger.com. You will be required to log in to you gmail account. 

 2. After log in, Select a profile. If you want your Google+ profile to be associated with your blog, select Google profile. If not, select a blogger profile.

 3. If you select your Google+ profile, it will be known that you own the blog. If you select a blogger profile, choose a blogger name for yourself that will appear when you comment or make posts on your blog.

4. Your blogger profile is ready. Simply click on New Blog to create yours.

 5.Next, Your blog URL. Select the website address of your new blog. It will be checked for availability. If it is available, you can proceed. If not, you will have to choose another address.

5. Your blog is ready for you to make your first post. Click on new post to create your first article.

 6.Put your content's title above as in the screenshot. In the free space below, type your article into it. Notice the tools bar. They all serve different purposes. You can play with them to see it's use.

 7. Hit the publish button when you are done editing.

 8. Voila!!! You are done.

Easy yea? Sure. Play with the tools bar till you get used to it. This is how my blog was done. Screenshots of verification using your phone number was omitted. You can follow the onscreen instructions for that.
