7 Tips To SUPER Charge Your Smartphones

We all enjoy using our mobile devices and we enjoy them more when the battery is rock solid. Back in the days, mobile phones focused on durability and long battery life. Some phones like Nokia 3310 is renowned for it's rock solid nature and long battery life. These days, the attention has shifted from durability and long battery life to functionality and utility. Many recent smartphones lack the ability to last more than 4hours of super speed 3G browsing. This tips will help you optimize your battery life and get the best of it.

1. KNOW YOUR BATTERY SIZE AND CHARGER OUTPUT
What does this mean? Have you ever thought  about it? Truth is, most times we buy chargers simply because it is a 'USB charger' or simply because it fits into our phones charging port. But in truth, each phone/battery has a particular charger type that it should use. Typically, smartphones has a battery capacity of from 1920mAh to 5200mAh. Simply open Google and type your phone model+ battery capacity and see the results. The result is your battery size.
After this, next time you want to buy a charger, look at the info on the charger and locate OUTPUT. You will see  something like 5.0V==1.0A. Take note of the A part. The bigger the number close to A, THE FASTER your phone will charge. So an OUTPUT of 5.0V==2.0A will charge a phone 2times faster than 5.0V==1.0A.
An Infinix Zero Phone with battery size 1920mAh and charger output of 1A(1000mAh) will be charged full in approx 3Hours. Calculate yours HERE
NOTE: mAh is smaller than A. So if what you see is say 450mAh, it means 0.45A.

2. Use  ORIGINAL USB CABLE
This is VERY important. You may have a very good charger with good output, but your USB cable may just be awful and makes your phone charge for prolonged hours. Before rushing to buy a new charger after you notice slow charge rate, change your USB cable. There is really no set out method for identifying originals yet. Simply avoid lightening cables and loose ones with thin cords.

3. Reduce SCREEN BRIGHTNESS
The screen light is a major source of zapping out battery. The fact of the matter is that when you charge your telephone when the brightness is high, the screen will be sucking the force gathered from your charging framework consequently prolonging the duration of the charge. So if you are so eager to use the phone while charging, reduce the brightness.

4. TRY NOT TO PLAY GAMES OR USE THE INTERNET(especially 3G) WHILE CHARGING
This is obviously not new. Playing games and charging certainly reduces the speed of charging. Have you ever charged your phone while using 3G and noticed that for mins the battery is still at a particular percentage even when you are charging it? Truth is, 3G draws battery life alot. It takes a powerful charger to actually minimize the effect of using it while charging.

5. SWITCH ON YOUR PHONE'S BATTERY SAVER
Many of our phones come loaded with a battery saver. Most times we use this feature only when our battery is low. Actually, we should tap into it's potentials while charging. It has the ability to enhance the speed of charging. Simply search on Google Play store for DU battery saver or Battery doctor or any other good alternative there.

6. USE LED TV USB PORT FOR CHARGING YOUR PHONE
Do you have an LED TV? Well, this is one of the obscure yet super fast way to charge. It has the ability to super charge a device or power bank. Be sure to use when it is really important. This is no alternative to normal charging, just as using a PC to charge.

7. SWITCH OFF YOUR PHONE / USE AIRPLANE MODE
There is nothing faster than switching off your phone and using a powerful charger. When the phone is not in use, like at night, just switch it off and charge. An alternative to this is to switch on Airplane Mode.

With this cool tips, you should enjoy a faster charge now. Feel free to ask questions or give suggestions. Have a Super Charged weekend.
