Apple CEO Tim Cook Says new iPad Pro Can Replace PCs. Do you think so?

Apple's CEO Tim Cook has quickly made the assumption that the newly launched elegantly stylish and highly functional iPad Pro can replace the laptop.

"I think if you're looking at a PC, why would you buy a PC anymore?" Cook told The Telegraph in an interview. "No really, why would you buy one?"

He went further to say that "the iPad Pro is a replacement for a notebook or a desktop for many, many people" who will "start using it and conclude they no longer need to use anything else, other than their phone."

The iPad Pro is far above the level of  a normal tablet as its screen is 12.9 inches across diagonally, making it much larger than the 9.7-inch iPad Air 2, and it includes a stylus and a cover that doubles as a keyboard.

Microsoft released a similar device in 2013 called the Surface Pro. The company released the more powerful Surface Pro 4 last month, along with the tablet/laptop hybrid called the Surface Book.

Market analysis shows that tablet sales reduced by 12.6 percent in the last 6 months of 2015, according to an October report, an sales of Ipads and  the likes of its size and bigger look to "increase dramatically over the next 18 months."

Tablets vs. PCs
Detchables like the iPad Pro are gaining ground on regular tablets. Can they overtake traditional laptop and desktop computers?

Apple's iPad pro is on sale at a whooping $799, plus $169 for the keyboard and $99 for the stylus totalling approxmately 210,000Naira.

Will you buy this super machine?
