HTC fans get in here! good news, finally...only for the Unlocked version though. Last month HTC promised that Android Marshmallow would come to some of its devices starting by the end of 2015. True to their word, this has been happening so far.
Last month, Android 6.0 came to the HTC One M8 Google Play Edition. Next stop, according to HTC Product Manager Mo Versi on his official twitter handle @Moversi says the regular unlocked M8 will get the Marshmallow update within the next 24 hours.
Now this obviously is great news for M8 owners and an unexpected one too as flagship phone M9 that came out this year doesn't even have the update yet.
What about other HTC users, any hope yet? Well there may be. We expect an influx of custom ROMs after this update is introduced.
